Angels participate in the Murchison Reading Room Christmas Production

The Murchison Angels recently participated in the Murchison Reading Room's Christmas Production.  The occassion was a wonderful celebration of the true meaning of Christmas and a time of rejoicing in the birth of our precious Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Angels Go On Camp!

 

 

On 3^rd December, we went on our first Angels camp!  Our camp

venue had to be moved because the group had grown so much and as a

new ministry with no budget, we were leaning heavily on God’s

provision… His abundance amazed us anew!

“And God will generously provide all you need”~    2 Corinthians 9:8



ü  At short notice, the Camp facilities were able to accommodate our bigger group.

ü  The Lord burdened a sister in Christ in the USA and she and her   

          Bible Study members  generously sponsored our fuel & food.

ü  Dickson & Brian gave of their time to transport us.

ü  The Vikings Rugby Academy loaned us their vehicle.

ü  Wiseman & Pinky gave us their love and their time.  (You guys are Angels

          without wingsJ)

ü   Lyn Boucher provided our beds, juice, biscuits & delicious hot dogs for lunch.

ü  Our friends at the Genesis Care centre provided Chicken for our supper and juice and biscuits for our tea times…

Our camp was a wonderful time of sharing and fellowship for all of us.  A time for strengthening new friendships and enjoying established bonds.  Activities included games, Volley Ball, a midnight feast and crafting.

We have been hugely blessed!!

“Thank-You” seems so inadequate when it comes to expressing the full extent of our gratitude.  We give our heart-felt thanks and all glory to our Heavenly Father for our group and for every single person that has been a part of our journey...  not even the slightest contribution was inconsequential!  We are excited about the future and can’t wait to see what the Lord will teach us in 2011, and we look forward to reaching out to others in love and service as we have been blessed and loved.
